Is there a difference between conscientious objection and civil/uncivil disobedience? Pastor John MacArthur refused to submit to the California governor’s mandate, and his church opened for services on Sunday. The media loves civil/uncivil disobedience when it comes to the ungodly organizations like Antifa and BLM. How does the church avoid these anarchical and rebellious elements, and yet retain the right to conscientiously object to an order that would violate God’s law?
