As of last week, the richest man in America is. . . Elon Musk. His company is overvalued by a factor of 200-fold. His only profit comes by regulatory credits. . . i.e., extortion from more honest car companies. How in the world did this guy’s wealth increase from $25 billion to $200 billion in just a year? How are the economic policies of the U.S. government, the Federal Reserve, and the richest men in America impoverishing the nation, while enriching the richest 400 people in the country? We compare the new breed to the Henry Fords, Sam Waltons, and Rockefeller’s of an earlier generation.
