What lessons can today’s Christian mothers glean from Rebekah, the mother of Esau and Jacob, Salome, the mother of James and John, two of Christ’s 12 disciples, and Mary, the mother of Jesus Himself?
Rebekah and Salome often made the wrong decisions which no mother should emulate. By contrast, Mary was a humble, courageous young woman who inquired of the Lord, knew her purpose, knew God as her Savior, and knew the Word of God.
In this second of three conversations with guest host Adam McManus, Rhonda Stoppe, author of Moms Raising Sons to Be Men, shares Biblical insights from these three mothers of Scripture.
In Adam's first interview with Rhonda, they discussed fascinating Biblical insights for Christian mothers from Jochabed, the mother of Moses, as well as the unnamed mother of David. And in his third interview, Rhonda addressed how moms can encourage their sons to choose chastity before marriage.
