Taiwan becomes the first Asian nation to set a path towards the legalization of unnatural relations and homosexual marriage. This introduces the subject of common grace, and the unusual condition in which God has chosen to withhold common grace from the world beginning in the 1980s. Why are the nations burning out en masse? This introduces the question of eschatology. Does the rise of Christ's kingdom and the burning out of the nations encourage a pessimism or optimism?
